OUR MISSION
To share the memories of this place, filled with happy moments of family and friends, with all those who wish to visit this accommodation space in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela. It offers simple and pleasant comfort amidst the landscape of mountainous beauty and the charm of the nearby stream. We welcome all those who wish to visit Salto do Lobo.
Privileged Location in the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, Close to Key Points of Interest: Located 3 km from Penhas da Saúde, 7 km from Covilhã, and 10 km from the majestic Tower of Serra da Estrela, the highest point in continental Portugal and a ski resort during the winter.
Rustic houses built by the writer Antonio Alcada Baptista, nestled in the midst of nature and entirely shaped by the morphology of the terrain. The interior space integrates the pre-existing rocks in the heart of the well-known Tapada do Dr. António, a slope acquired by the writer's great-grandfather, who, enamored with Serra da Estrela, brought pine trees from Switzerland and took care of this family space.
The houses have been harmoniously placed along the banks of the Ribeira das Cortes, 3 km from Penhas da Saúde, where the Salto do Lobo accommodation is located. It offers simple and pleasant comfort amidst the landscape of mountainous beauty and the charm of the nearby stream
