A structure full of history to tell, each stone that still stands in its place affirms the power that only time has to make beautiful and also reveals its ability to rebuild, in its own way. I highly recommend seeing in person the life that inhabits this place, whose sunrise light illuminates.

Pedra do Rei Leão," so named for its resemblance to the famous Disney movie scenery, is a special spot in Salto do Lobo that captivates the imagination of visitors. It is a place that invites reflection on the connection between nature, history, and our own experiences.

The river is 10 minutes from the house on the way to Cortes do Meio. Ribeira Maior is great for swimming, diving, and enjoying the waterfalls around.

The Tower is the highest point in the Serra da Estrela and also in Continental Portugal, being the second-highest in Portugal overall (only Pico Mountain in the Azores has a higher altitude, at 2,351 meters). This point is not a characteristic mountain peak but rather the highest point of a mountain range. The Tower has the unusual feature of being a summit accessible by a paved road, at the end of which there is a roundabout with a symbolic monument to the Tower, as well as a geodesic marker. It is said, although not confirmed, that King D. João VI may have ordered the construction of a stone monument here in the early 19th century to reach the altitude of 2,000 meters.
